1. Policy overview
NitzVPN is a zero-knowledge, no-logs VPN for traffic. We want you to stay anonymous. We do not store browsing history, DNS queries, connection times, or the sites you visit. We do keep a small account and payment ledger so we can credit prepaid time and prevent duplicate charges.
You sign up with a random 16-digit account number. We do not ask for email, name, phone, or address.
2. Third parties
We do not sell, use, or disclose to third parties any user data or VPN traffic data for any purpose.
Hosting and payment processors (our infrastructure provider, Apple In-App Purchase, and Razorpay on Android) receive only what they need to run the service or complete a payment. They do not receive browsing history, DNS queries, or connection logs. We do not have that data.
3. Numbered accounts
An account has two properties we store: the account number and the time remaining on that account. We also record whether a signup trial was used.
| account number | expires_at | trial_used |
|---|---|---|
| 16-digit | timestamp | true / false |
4. Devices
When you connect, the app registers a device public key and receives a tunnel configuration. Device labels are generated (for example iPhone-AB12). They are not your name.
| device label | public key | tunnel IP |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone-AB12 | public key | assigned address |
5. Payments
On iOS, prepaid time is purchased through Apple In-App Purchase. On Android, payments may use Razorpay. Apple or Razorpay process the payment and may hold billing details under their own policies.
When we create a Razorpay order we send an internal payment identifier (not your 16-digit account number) plus the pack (tier and hours). We do not send your name, email, or UPI ID.
We keep the record below so we can credit VPN time and prevent duplicate charges. Processor identifiers and payment dates can join a charge to an account on our side. That is not a VPN connection log.
| amount | currency | date | method | provider | hours | processor id |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| paise / cents | INR | date | upi / card / iap | apple / razorpay | hours added | order or transaction id |
We do not store card numbers, expiry, CVV, UPI IDs or VPA, bank account numbers, or the payer's name, email, or phone.
6. What we do not store
- No logging of traffic
- No logging of DNS queries
- No logging of connections, including when one is made, when it disconnects, or how long it lasted
- No logging of your real-world IP address as a connection or session history
- No logging of bandwidth used per account
- No name, email, phone, postal address, or government ID
At account creation we may briefly use a hashed network address to rate-limit signups. That is not a VPN connection log and is not kept as a history of where you connect from.
A random install identifier is sent only at signup and stored as a hash so we can limit one free trial per install. It is not an advertising ID.
7. How the VPN uses data
Traffic is encrypted to our VPN servers. We do not keep connection or destination logs tied to your account.
8. Account deletion
You can delete your account in the app (Account, then Delete account). This removes your account, devices, and payment records from our systems and revokes VPN access for those devices. Save your account number only if you still need it. Deletion cannot be undone.
9. Children
NitzVPN is not directed at children under 13.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. If we do, the last updated date in the document header will change.
